This is Boo at about 6 weeks old cuddled up in a blanket. She was born in December so it was pretty cold!

Boo is looking a little groggy. Must have just woken up from a nap.

Boo is doing her best to chew up our daughter's shoe but I think the shoe is winning. She is so teeny tiny. Our daughter's shoe is a children's size and it's about the same size as Boo. Bobby thinks she looks like a Dinosaur from Jurassic Park here.

Awww...this is when Boo was actually kinda cute!

Right from the beginning Boo has always loved to play with our cat, DaiDai. We sometimes believe that Boo thinks DaiDai is her mama.

More play time with her pal, DaiDai.

Here's Boo at about 3 1/2 months old. She hadn't grown into her ears yet!

Close up! Maybe a little too close.

Poor Boo. She's all ears!

DaiDai looks bored...yawn.

Boo might be all growed up now but her favorite playmate is still DaiDai. Problem is, DaiDai gets annoyed with Boo always bugging her. Bite her back Kitty...get her!

This is Boo's sad face. It's what happens when DaiDai won't play with her.

Meet Boo. She is quite possibly the neediest dog you’ll ever meet.

Ahh…it’s hard for me to remember life before Boo.

Life just seemed simpler then.

Potty training her was, by far, worse than training a toddler. I guess you could say that Boo is kinda slow. She’s also the happiest animal we’ve ever had. She just bounces around without a care in the world. Gotta love her spirit. Even though she demands so much attention.

Boo was a birthday present to me from Bobby and our daughter. Now, I did want another chihuahua so it was a great gift. But what I asked for in a chihuahua and what I actually got are two different stories. I wanted a chocolate chihuahua.

Boo is not chocolate.

Boo is not brown at all.

Boo is brindle. And in my mind couldn’t decide what color to be and pretty much choose them all.

I just wasn’t meant to have a chocolate chihuahua. I was meant to have Boo. Lucky me.

Boo is super needy and hyper. Not just a little needy. But a lot needy.

She will sit right in front of you and just stare…

and stare…

and stare…

and just when you think she’s going to stop…

she stares some more.

We all thought that once she got a little older the neediness would go away. Boo is 5 years old now and it didn’t go away.

All you have to do is look her direction or say her name and she’s all up in your personal space. She’s my little brat. I call her my BooBoo or Bug-a-boo.

Her favorite playmate is DaiDai. From the moment she was brought home, she has tirelessly pestered DaiDai. Thank the Lord kitty is patient with Boo, aside from the occasional hiss directed at Boo. You’d think Boo would catch a clue at this point…nope…not my little BooBoo. She’s pretty persistent.

She’s staying with a family member while we embark on this journey.

I will say this. I miss my animals immensely. Even my little Bug-a-boo.
