Leaving California...our home state and venturing into new territory. Here we come Oregon!

This drive had such beautiful scenery. I’m not a fan of heights or winding roads, which is what this highway delivers. But, oh, the scenery was amazing. Had to snap some pics of mother nature at its best.

The Sun is Setting in Trinidad, CA

We weren’t in Trinidad, CA long but what I did see of this teeny tiny little town I really, really loved. We were passing through on our first day on the road trying to find some lodging for the night. One day I’ll go back and check it out some more. Loved what I did see though. Snapped these two pics of the sun setting on the beach. It was an awesome sight to see…very peaceful.

Saw this on our first day on the road driving along US Highway 101 just south of Garberville, CA and had to turn back and take a look. Loved this little One-Log House. Amazing and cool.
